Rethinking Rehabilitation
Comprehensive, ongoing functional measurement before and during rehabilitation is vital to the neurorehabilitation process. Streamlining this process using Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies is a core part of The Exeme Project.
Reducing duplication of paperwork saves clinicians time and cognitive load, especially when it comes to decisions on a patient's rehabilitation intervention. The Exeme Project is gathering new insights from current and historical data to improve functional outcome prediction, with the goal of creating an intelligent Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) for neurorehabilitation.
In a world of complex organisations, fragmented rehabilitation provision and disparate funding sources, it's easy for patients, carers, families and industry professionals to feel powerless to improve their situation. The Exeme Project believes that transparency about available interventions and their predicted outcomes along the therapeutic journey empowers all parties, leading to better rehabilitation outcomes.
